My long-distance walks include Brooklyn to Philadelphia (180 miles, 9 days), across Los Angeles (115 miles, 7 days), the length of Long Island (160 miles, 9 days), and a 30-day, 400-mile walk across ten East Coast cities.
I’m the founder and former editor of Pedestrian, a magazine dedicated to people who like to walk and move (RIP).
I’m currently at work on my debut novel, Repeater. My writing has appeared in The New York Times, and my work is held in the collections of the New York Public Library and the Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection.
My projects have been featured in BOMB, Grist, Untapped Journal, and on NPR. I’ve guest lectured and led walks for organizations including Princeton University, the Swiss Institute, Salomon, the Municipal Art Society of New York, and Parsons School of Design.
